Home is where the heart is...

Well its nearly time ... to move back in my home. Why where have you been? I hear you ask. Well I have an unusual living arrangement. 8 Months of the year, I live in my lovely mobile home in the country. Unfortunatlely due to council democracy, I have to leave for 4 months of the year, and into rented accomodation. Been cleaning it up today ready for the 1st March. Sooooooooooo I plan to go out looking for new interesting bits this week. Lets cross fingers for a fab find!!!!!! keep checking back http://www.justvintage.co.uk/

Valen blurgh Day!!

Well thank goodness it's nearly over. I'm sure I speak for many devout singletons... all that gushy over comercialism gets on my nerves. Unless of course you have bought something for your loved one off my website http://www.justvintage.co.uk/ (blatant plug). What have I done today, well I got up at 6.30am to go to car boot, thought sod that its too cold and went back to bed. Tried again at 10am!! got a nice tapestry case and a couple of paisley scarves but not much for me today. I then spent the afternoon watching the Olympics and Rugby. Now, well here I am. Here's to tomorrow and waiting to see whos now single after all the arguments today :0)

Eco Friendly Warriors

I have seen a steady increase in new customers on my online shop and at the vintage fairs I attend. The general 'twitter' seems to be the leaning towards the environment and individuality. I personally promote the eco friendliness of vintage fashion and homewares. Afterall things from the 'good ole days' are still standing the test of time. People are now recognising the importance of reusing, and turning away from the 'throw away' mentalilty of the recent decades. Then of course there is individuality. What is more fun than creating your own style and look, for your wardrobe and your home!!
